VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNS
Amanda Parks is currently a sophomore at UNH studying nutrition and EcoGastronomy. She is very active in the UNH Slow Food chapter and has a passion for cooking. During the summer she worsk at Longhaul Farm inHolderness, New Hampshire.
Amanda Crane is studying Nutrition, Dietetics at UNH and am in my sophomore year. She has a passion for helping others, eating and cooking fresh, local, healthy foods, being involved with the community and is involved with nutrition and community service-related groups on campus. She is working with ReRootEd and Seacoast Local to organize this summer’s series of Farm Dinners on the Seacoast. Beyond the school year, she will continue to work on the Farm Dinners as well as volunteer within the local community.
Christine Morico is currently studying community Environmental Planning at UNH. She is working with this organization because she believes that change takes place in living systems, not from above but from within, from many local actions occurring simultaneously.
Hannah Reed is a junior at the University of New Hampshire. She is a Nutrition: Dietetics major and is loving it! She is originally from New Hampshire and loves working with local farms for her internship. Hannah is very interested in learning more about local food and connecting the farms with local chefs. She likes staying active by running, biking, and snowboarding.
