Seacoast Local works to foster, develop, and enhance relationships between local, independently owned businesses and the origin of their food. Our food program, ReRootEd, is organizing these farm dinners as matchmaking, fundraising and joyful events that bring together chefs, farmers, and up to 100 guests on a farm, with a focus on the relationship between our food and how we eat. Two chefs pair with each hosting farm to develop a menu, prepare food purchased from the farm, and engage dinner guests in the unique character and atmosphere that each location provides.

It is our hope that we can foster a transparent and long-lasting link between these chefs, the farm and their products, and the guests at the meal. Our emphasis is on the importance of the role our relationship to local farms plays in building a stronger, more resilient food system. If you’d like pay by check please email us with attendees and mail your check (payable to Seacoast Local) to:

Our ReRootEd program works year-round work to increase connections, provide education and support market development toward a more resilient local, living economy that features healthy, clean and fair food for all. We co-host Fishtival (NH Fish and Lobster Festival) and convene the Local Food Network. In addition to their value as an enjoyable and educational experience for all, Field & Spoon dinners serve as a fundraiser to help support new research identifying upcoming challenges and opportunities for our local food system.
