Our Shift Your Shopping campaign includes a town-by-town guide to holiday cheer!

14717326_1226934784030786_7284645973155108273_nTote Around Town in Portsmouth: Select retailers are partnering up to create a whole new holiday shopping experience on Saturday, Nov. 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Art on the Hill in Kittery: Art and fun at the annual open studios event Nov. 25 & 26 at Wentworth Dennett Studios, 78 Government St. Friday 4 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ShiftYourShopping_CraftFix_KitteryCraft Fix in Kittery: 8th annual Locally Made Craft and Gift Fair on Sunday, Nov. 27, at Buoy, 2 Government St., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Exeter’s Ring in The Season: Santa Claus arrives at 5 p.m. to light up the Town on Thursday night and kick-off the four-day celebration, Dec. 1-4. Enjoy the Holiday Open House and the Festival of Trees. Friday features the HERON Holiday Trolley, the Rotary Auction and a tree lighting on Swasey Parkway.

Dover Festival of Trees: More than 30 trees, elaborately decorated by local businesses and organizations, to be auctioned and raffled off to benefit the Dover City Lights Committee. The event also includes live choir performances, children’s activities, holiday carols, refreshments and more. Friday night, Dec. 2, 4 to 8 p.m. at City Hall, 288 Central Ave.

South Berwick’s Home for the Holidays: Neighbors and friends head to Main Street on Dec. 2 & 3 for the annual holiday celebration with caroling, animals, crafts, concerts, Santa, dreidel games, the annual Art Sale and refreshments at stores throughout the town. Look for SoBo Bucks this year, too. Friday 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Somersworth Christmas Parade and Winter Gala: Main Street and Government Plaza will be transformed into a winter wonderland, with parade, tree lighting, dancers, and more continuous performances and exhibits on Saturday, Dec. 3. Parade at 2:30 p.m., fireworks at 4:30, followed by tree lighting.

York Festival of Lights Parade: See marching bands, beautifully illuminated floats,  antique cars, clowns and much more, on Saturday, Dec. 3, starting at Foster’s Clambake and traveling down York Street to Village Elementary School. Enjoy caroling, the lighting of the village square, a Christmas tea at Jefferds Tavern, and the play “A Christmas Carol,” too. Parade starts at 4:30 p.m.

Button Factory Open Studios: The hallmark seasonal event features working artists from the mill studios, plus two dozen invited artists and craftspeople, at 855 Islington St.,  Portsmouth, on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3 & 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Somersworth Holiday Open House: Swing by downtown to support local businesses and try out one of the great dining establishments while you are ticking items off of your holiday shopping list! Saturday, Dec. 10. 

Portsmouth’s West End Wonderland invites you to visit Islington Street shops all month long, enjoy special offers, get your passport stamped (available at any of the participating two dozen local businesses), and be entered to win a drawings for three huge gift baskets, each valued at more than $900!
